There are many many things that make you take a sharp intake of breath. This is one about the White House making a petition for the blind – in-accessible. However – jump to the first comment and the immediate reply. That pretty much sums up why Universal Design matters – because given this is a commenter on TechDirt, you’d think … but noooo.

I just found this post and have to say I as a blind person am upset over this. Actually I am flaming mad. Way to go Mr. President. You have put us back in the “Dark Ages” again. Sighs. What can we do now?
