I heard about a teacher who spent most of their time yelling. The students ran amok. The teacher was first in the staff room and last to leave. The same teacher refused to deal with technological projects on the basis they were studying a Masters and had no time.Student results were ordinary; and the teacher wasn’t allowed near a senior class. However, the Masters was obtained, they promptly left that school and dropped into another school – teaching seniors. As luck would have it, someone left and the teacher fell into a curriculum job.
So remind me why messing about with informal learning matters?
